Creative Partnerships

The Creative Partnerships programme brings creative workers such as artists, architects and scientists into schools to work with teachers to inspire young people and help them learn.

From 2009 - 2011  I have worked with teachers and children to develop creative activities that explore key issues identified by the schools.

At Fakenham Junior School we explored new possibilities for learning and achievement in their school grounds

On the final day the children made an alternative pathway through the school grounds using flags, sculptures and labyrinths and invited family and other classes to explore it with them

At North Walsham Junior School we looked at ways of being creative through an exploration of their school grounds in 2010, and questions about what inspires us through the medium of weaving in 2011

In May 2010, as part of Norfolk Open Studios, the children made a sculpture trail and "Stick City", a city of sticks in the woods

At Antingham and Southrepps we explored creativity in their local outdoor environment
